This project consisted of doing a redesign for http://darwin-online.co.uk. Darwin-Online contains a massive amount of data and getting the structure and interface right is a big challenge. Before diving into the details I want to mention that I made this project together with Joni Van Bogaert. I did the biggest part of the design process while Joni was focused on the technical part.

The result

We tried to give the website the right atmosphere by using old paper and leather textures. Below you can find the design of the homepage, the content is of course fictional. Our project got selected in Cambridge but it's still quite unsure if it will be taken into production.
